Then on September 4, we'll be presenting an audio conference focused on steps retailers can take to catch and correct overcharges in Workers Comp premiums.  To register for this audio conference you can also call 866-774-1964.

We're pleased to announce that Advanced Insurance Management LLC has met the requirements of the A.M. Best Company for listing on their Directory of Recommended Expert Service Providers for 2008.

As we've noted in the past, not all premium consultants are created equal.  And this field of endeavor is not subject to regulation or licensing (unlike the sale of insurance) so anyone can set up shop on the internet and claim to be an expert on reducing Workers' Compensation insurance premiums.  And an unethical, inexperienced, or incompetent "consultant" could do potentially more harm than good.  That's why Advanced Insurance Management LLC is proud to be listed in this directory produced by A.M. Best Company.  It's also the reason A.I.M. is a Accredited Business member of the Better Business Bureau: to reassure clients and potential clients regarding the quality of professional services provided by us.

Not all of our competitors can say the same.

You can also hear an in-depth interview with A.I.M. founder and President Ed Priz here.  This interview was conducted earlier in 2007 over the web on contractorselling.com, and covered topics such as preparing for a workers compensation audit, dealing with the auditor, common mistakes in workers' compensation insurance premiums, and other topics of interest to business owners and managers.

20 Years of AIM

Most days it hardly seems that long, but 2007 is the 20th year of Advanced Insurance Management's operation.  Since late 1987 AIM has been checking over Workers' Compensation insurance charges for employers, finding and recovering mistakes that have made those insurance premiums higher than they really should have been.

Over the course of 20 years, we've fixed mistakes that added up to millions of dollars in premium overcharges (last time we tried to add them up, we totaled around $20,000,000 in premium refunds and reductions--and we're still adding to that total.

It's been a heck of an experience so far.  And with a little bit of luck, the best is yet to come.  Thanks to all those clients over the years who entrusted Advanced Insurance Management to double-check their insurance companies, and thanks as well to the various insurance companies who have (generally) been pretty good sports about having some third party looking over their collective shoulders and pointing out their errors.

Thanks also to the various insurance regulators we've worked with over the years, folks who have helped us make sure the insurance industry lived up to their own rules and regulations and returned overcharges that AIM identified.  Without the support and backing of conscientious insurance regulators, our job would have been much, much more difficult.

So even though milestones such as this are a great time for looking back on where we've come from, it's an even better time to look forward and anticipate the next twenty years.  The insurance industry hasn't stopped overcharging employers (in spite of our best efforts) so there's a lot of work yet to be done.
